CIMTI Training: The new European Patent System with Unitary Effect

The unitary patent, long awaited in the European industrial property landscape, came into force on June 1^st of 2023. This figure was created with the aim of unifying the European patent market, reducing costs and simplifying the administrative procedure for registration: with a single procedure, achieving wide uniform territorial coverage in the 18 countries which have ratified the agreement.

The introduction of a new system raises numerous concerns: Is the unitary route always the best choice for protection? Is the traditional national validation system still valid? Uniform coverage implies that a revocation in one of the member countries would have an impact on the rest.

On Thursday, November 28^th, from 10:00 to 12:00 will take place at the offices of CIMTI the training session on “The new system of European Patent with Unitary Effect”, by PontIPartners, to solve all these issues and many more.

The session is free, but it is limited to technology-based health sector projects and has a limited size. We will only accept one registration per project and a maximum of 2 people can be registered per project. You can register through our Eventbrite!
