At CIMTI, we are focused on expanding the innovative expertise of other entities and providing them with the necessary tools to enhance the competitiveness of their innovative solutions. For that reason, we have provided the first of two training sessions planned for the research staff of IDIAPJGol (Institut d’Investigació en Atenció Primària de Salut Jordi Gol).

The training included both theoretical and practical parts. During the first, participants were able to learn how to distinguish between invention and innovation, the main calls for proposals favoring transfer funding and the basic principles of improving the wording of proposals to make projects more competitive.

During the first, participants learned how to distinguish between invention and innovation, the main calls for proposals favoring transfer funding and the basic principles of improving the wording of proposals to make projects more competitive.

They have also discovered the Health Innovation Cycle, the CIMTI’s own methodology, adapted from CIMIT in Boston, which allows for more effective progress in the development of innovative projects. This technology-based methodology identifies the steps to take to minimize the risk of innovation and maximize the chances of success.

In the practical part, using artificial intelligence tools, the selection of a call has been worked out, the key sections of the calls most appropriate to each project have been identified and the experience shared.
